The 15th Annual Great Bay 5K took place on Saturday, October 26, 2013. This is a point-to-point race on a fast, downhill course. The race is a fundraiser for the non-profit Great Bay Stewards. The Great Bay Stewards are the "friends group" for the Great Bay Discovery Center and the Great Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve. The mission of the Great Bay Stewards is to support the Discovery Center and the Reserve, and to help protect and preserve Great Bay through education and land conservation programs.
On behalf of the Great Bay Stewards, we thank all those who supported and/or participated in the 2013 Great Bay 5K! This was our largest field ever, with 995 finishers.
The overall winners were Nate Jenkins (14:55) and Beverly Antunes (17:27). The winning racewalkers were Stephan Mayeux (31:15) and Anne Broussard (37:06). The mixed team winner was the Coastal Athletic Association.

We are grateful for the support of our sponsors, without whom we could not host the Great Bay 5K. They include:
We are grateful to First Student Bus Company, Domino's Pizza, and the Seacoast Spine and Sports Injury Clinic for their support and help at this year's race.
We are also very grateful to our wonderful volunteers who came out on a chilly morning to help ensure that everyone had a good and safe race!
