Beth Teaching Kids

This series of summer programs are offered in July and August, and are for children ages 4 - 6. The programs all take place at the Great Bay Discovery Center, 89 Depot Road, Greenland, NH. Children, who should be accompanied by an adult, will listen to a story, play a game and make a craft. Programs are generally on Thursdays, and are approximately one hour long. Most activities will be outside, so please come dressed ready to play! There is a nominal fee for these programs to help offset cost of materials.

The Once Upon An Estuary programs follow the weekly theme of the BayVentures programs, but with age-appropriate content and activities.

Registration is required for the Once Upon An Estuary programs. Registration begins on May 15. Please call 603-778-0015 to register or for more information.

There are also Once Upon a Winter Estuary programs offered at the Great Bay Discovery Center, too.  Similarly to the summer series, these programs engage a younger audience of pre-schoolers (ages 2-5, accompanied by an adult) with winter fun outdoors, a story, and craft to take home.  Check out our Calendar of Events for program topics which focus on wildlife in winter and snow, and call the Great Bay Discovery Center at (603) 778-0015 to register or for more information.

Please be sure that children are dressed appropriately for outdoor playtime with proper layers of clothing and footwear, as activities will be outside.
